Figured it's time to start posting blog entries on this site! Meet SYNAPSE WING - an experimental aircraft built by NEURO POLYPS and meant to deliver DEATH RAYS from above.
This particular build was inspired by artworks of Alex Ries, which often feature alien creatures around somewhat conventional vehicles.
It's not a new build by any means: I made it back in September of 2024 for the sole purpose of making test Blender renders and ended up not posting it. Here's the surviving picture of an early version of the build:
I decided to revisit the build almost a year later, and while I made as little changes to the plane as possible, I felt that replacing humanoid creatures with more original-looking aliens was a step in the right direction.
